Hello! I'm an senior undergraduate in Electrical Engineering at 🔬KAIST, studying integrated photonics. I currently an undergraduate researcher at KAIST Integrated Metaphotonics Group advised by Professor Sangsik Kim.
My research interests lie in the design, fabrication, and characterization of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs). I am particularly fascinated by the potential of high-Q micro-ring resonators and their applications in next-generation optical communication, neuromorphic computing, and on-chip sensing. My goal is to pursue a PhD where I can contribute to developing novel photonic devices that solve fundamental challenges in speed and efficiency.
Born in New Jersey, USA 🇺🇲 and raised in Singapore 🇸🇬 and South Korea 🇰🇷 , my international background has fostered a strong sense of adaptability and a global perspective—assets I am eager to bring to a collaborative research environment.
When I'm not in the lab, I enjoy working out, swimming, and cycling. I'm also an avid traveler, always eager to explore new places in Korea and abroad. A personal passion of mine is discovering great food, and I keep a photographic journal of the restaurants I visit and meals I enjoy.
